Varied activities

CERAN centres are open all year round, including public holidays, for our intensive week-long residential language courses.
Each day is made up of 9 learning activities: lessons and guided self-study activities.
Each evening, the learning programme is supplemented by socio-cultural activities.

These different learning sessions balance and complement each other, allowing you to optimise the time you invest and to progress rapidly.

Private lessons or in small groups:

Small-group lessons
After your assessment, we put together small groups of 2 to 4 people. Depending on your level, targets for comprehension, general oral communication and managerial communication (the Lingua Managment® approach) are set by the instructor and group memebers.

Private lessons
These lessons give us the opportunity to address your specific work-related needs or take a different approach to the material covered in the small groups.

Guided self-study:
everyone at their own pace, with a trainer always at hand…

Workshops
Cross-cultural communication (2 workshops per week), mastering the material covered, preparation for the next day’s lessons, specific exercises, written work.

Language laboratory
Reinforcement of grammatical structures, development of listening comprehension, vocabulary development.

Phonetic training
Speedlingua® software means you can achieve results fast in your sound recognition and pronunciation.

Socio-cultural activities:
a convivial atmosphere, practical application of what you have learnt, a cross-cultural dimension...

During meals: practical application of what you have learnt at conversation tables led by an instructor.

In the evenings: speaking to an audience, debates, role-plays, cross-cultural communication.
