CERAN BELGIUM: A multi-disciplined and multi-cultural team

Fabienne Carmanne, Managing Director of the CERAN Group:

OUR TEAM

  

The CERAN group currently employs more than 100 staff at the Spa site, made up as follows:

-         management team

-         heads of department and services

-         administrative and sales employees

-         teachers

-         catering staff

 

Teachers always teach their native language, or are perfectly bilingual, and are all graduates, although not necessary in languages. They form a multi-disciplinary and multi-cultural team able to adapt to the varied needs of our clientèle.
CERAN BELGIUM, as a service-led organisation, attaches huge importance to all its employees' qualifications, since this helps define customer satisfaction. All members of staff are therefore recruited according to strict criteria and assessed on their knowledge (theoretical), their capability (expected professional competence) and their personal skills (appropriate behaviour). We always demand good inter-personal skills.
Everyone we employ must therefore be qualified in their subject, but they must also be open to intercultural exchanges, and have respect for people and their differences. They must be highly hospitable and have a strong sense of customer service, pride in a job well done and an enthusiastic attitude whatever the circumstances!

The teaching teams

The French department
A highly experienced team. The team in the French department has extensive experience in teaching French and is well versed in the CERAN method. The wide variety of backgrounds among our team of teachers (economists, specialists in Romance languages, translators, Germanists, etc) is a definite advantage when it comes to responding to the needs of our students. Both enthusiastic and passionate about their profession, our teachers take real joy from teaching their language and find enrichment through contact with students of different nationalities. Most of them have experienced a life which has made them sensitive to inter-cultural communications.

 
The English department
The English department has more than one string to its bow!
Since most of us have lived in different countries, we understand perfectly how to put people at their ease. We also understand how important it is to be able to express yourself in a different language, both in a work situation, as well as away from work. We would be delighted to share our love of the English language with you in a multi-cultural environment. We hope to see you soon in the English department.

 
The Dutch department

The team in the Dutch department cannot wait to welcome you. We love our language, as you'll see and hear!
We attach huge importance to quality and are enthusiastic and dynamic. We have a wealth of experience and are always available and ready to support you with advice or action.

The German department
"German - that's a difficult language to learn" - it's something we've all heard, isn't it?
But we are going prove the opposite to you - with enormous enthusiasm, fun and an efficiency that will enable you to discover our language and culture.
Small as the German department may be.
Our little group creates a lively and sociable atmosphere and you'll feel "at home" immediately, while our excellent teachers, all native speakers, will take delight in being at your side and supporting you throughout your stay.
