Programs

The course is organised around two-week sessions of intensive, residential teaching.
 

Each day a combination of 7 sessions of learning activities (45 minutes each) in groups of 6 participants maximum:

  • 2 general oral lessons
    (expressing a choice, persuading someone, refusing a compromise, etc.)
  • 1 oral comprehension lesson
    (understanding the news, reports on Europe, etc.)
  • 1 specialised oral lesson
    (going to a job interview, leading a discussion, etc.)
  • 1 writing workshop
    (drawing up a CV, summarising a text, taking notes in class, etc.)
  • 1 language laboratory session or private lesson
  • 1 preparation workshop for cultural activities or 1 individual study session
     

  

Continuous practice of the language studied during:

  • breaks and meals supervised by instructors
  • sports, cultural and leisure activities
  • themed evenings
  • recreational and cultural activities during the half-course weekend.
     

 

Students have the option of complementing their programmes with private lessons in order to satisfy specific needs, such as preparing for an exam (baccalauréat, GCSE, A level, Abitur, DELF, DELE, IB etc.), summarising texts, analysing literary texts, reinforcing the work done in group lessons, addressing certain grammatical weaknesses etc.
