Throughout the year, CERAN offers intensive residential language courses in complete immersion for adults aged 18 and above.

These courses for Executives are for learners of any level, from total beginners to those at ease in the target language.

CERAN offers a comprehensive personalized solution to meet all language needs:  intensive one-week course, tailor-made corporate courses, In-Company | In-House Coaching, Linguistic Help Desk...

This programme is aimed at students aged 18 to 22 who want to prepare for their studies, an exam or an overseas internship, gain a better understanding of the required reading at university, or prepare for their first job.

The programme is not open to beginners and is organised in 2-week sessions of intensive, residential courses.

This intensive, residential programme is aimed at young people aged 9 to 18, and lasts a minimum of one week during the school holidays.

During these courses, the young people develop real communication skills, reinforce what they have learnt in school, prepare for higher education or a move abroad, and at the same time enjoy an enriching multicultural experience.

Classic programme

Private lessons

These lessons address specific needs. In the interest of efficiency, they are given in 2 consecutive periods of 45 minutes each, with a maximum of 8private lessons per week per participant.

Workshops

Workshops are conducted in small groups and allow students to:

  • assimilate the material covered during lessons through play and interaction
  • work on their school needs
  • organise and revise their study notes

Lessons in small groups

Based on the initial assessment, we make up small groups of no more than 9 students (with an average of 6 per group), in order to develop the following skills:

  • Oral comprehension: identifying information in order to understand the speaker better
  • Oral expression: communicating using role plays and simulations to tell a story, make a presentation, qualify an opinion, participate in a debate, use vocabulary and grammar in real contexts
  • Written comprehension: understanding, analysing and summarising written information
  • Written expression: writing a summary, commentary or letter, expressing an opinion and developing an argument

Breaks and meals

Participating in a CERAN course also means embarking on a human journey, meeting young people from different cultural backgrounds and discovering the culture of the language studied. To facilitate and reinforce communication, teachers and activity orga nisers supervise students during breaks and meals and encourage them to use the target language to communicate among themselves.

Recreational and cultural activities

Wednesday afternoons are set aside for sports activities (e.g. Olympiads or adventure trails), cultural activities (e.g. a visit to a museum or exhibition) and recreational acti vities (e.g. beach activities, orienteering or bowling) on or off site.

For stays of longer than a week, the weekend is a time for relaxation and culture, with visits to amusement parks, museums, towns and historical sites.

Free expression activities

Free expression activities allow students to use the language in a spontaneous way thanks to fun and creative activities such as games, songs, improvisation and debates.
