Prerequisites:

Perfect command of ENGLISH (mother tongue or bilingual).
Allow to work in Belgium (European citizenship or valid work permit).
Available at least 2 weeks.
Experience in teaching children and teenagers.
Be able to adapt to a method based on oral communication.
Be enthusiastic about working with children and a sense of responsibility.
Be sensitive to multiculturalism and the difficulties encountered by young people when learning a foreign language
Eager to follow a mandatory training about the CERAN method ( hybrid training)

Your mission and Our engagements

The Teachers are key members of the CERAN Academy staff. Their role is to help trainees develop their communicative skills in the target language through structured, motivating teaching activities and plenty of practice.

YOUR MISSION:

Prepare and deliver oral and written expression and comprehension lessons and workshops using the CERAN method ( Mandatory Training before )
Assess the level of students at the beginning and end of the course and complete a language skills assessment for each student
Complete the required teaching documents
Provide pedagogical feedback to trainees and parents on departure
Comply with and ensure compliance with current regulations
Cooperate with colleagues
Ensure the well-being of trainees
Be monitored and accompanied by the educational manager during the various activities
Participate in meetings and training sessions
Any other tasks related to the role

Our Engagments :

Training before the camp of 10 hours online to our methods and tools (inclusive of AI-based tools)
Training on site
Support by the Head of Department.
Week-end free
Possible accommodations on the site ( a fee is applied)
Student contract, fixed-term and freelance
Gross monthly salary between €1,740 and €2,350 (depending on working hours and status)
Working hours: 30 hours
Week-end free (except some saturday morning)

ABOUT CERAN ACADEMY

CERAN, part of the Chateauform' group, organises intensive language courses for professional and private adult clients. These complete immersion courses are offered in residential or non-residential formulas in several countries.

With over 2,000 programmes organised each year, the CERAN group has been a specialist in intensive language training for over 40 years.

The CERAN Academy also offers residential and intensive language courses for young people aged 9 to 17 (JUNIORS) during the summer school holidays, in French, English, Dutch and German in St Roch Ferrières in Belgium. The main difference between the CERAN centres and other language schools is complete immersion. Every member of staff encourages trainees to speak only the target language throughout their stay.
