Activity Leader for the summer language camp

The Activity Leaders ( Camp counselors) are key members of the CERAN Academy staff. Their role is to provide motivating, high-quality activities and to encourage trainees to speak the target language at all times. They must ensure the safety of the young people during all activities on-site and off-site during excursions.

• Promote the target language and its use by all trainees
• Create, organise, prepare and run daily activities
• Supervise and lead the trainees on Wednesday and weekend excursions: guided visits, planned activities, free time and coach journeys
• Welcoming trainees and their parents
• Provide entertainment during breaks and evening meals
• Help the Night Team to put the youngest participant to bed
• Ensure that equipment and facilities are used properly
• Comply with and ensure compliance with the onsite rules
• Ensure the well-being of trainees
• Participate in daily meetings of the animation team

• Additional skills (not compulsory): Knowledge of foreign languages, First Aid certificate, Advanced Water Rescue certificate, driving licence

Our Engagments :

• Accomodations on the site  possible ( a fee is applied)
• Student contract, fixed-term and freelance
• Gross monthly salary between €1,740 and €2,350 (depending on working hours and status)
• Working hours: 30 to 38 hours per week
• 1 full day off per week
